Další slabiky v Katakaně lze utvořit přidáním tzv. nigori (dvě čárky) nebo maru-nigori (kolečko) k některým znakům. Tabulka ukazuje možnosti, kam znaky přidat. Funguje to stejně jako pro Hiraganu. It is possible to create more syllables in Katakana by adding so called nigori (two small lines) or maru-nigori (small circle) to some characters. See table for details. It is the same as for Hiragana.
