| Title: | An introduction to dendric sets |
| Abstract: | In this talk we'll introduce the class of formal languages called dendric sets. This class is defined by a condition on the possible extensions of bispecial factors and it contains both families of Sturmian sets and of regular Interval Exchange sets. Several notions and results will be served ``à la carte'' accordingly to the audience taste: combinatorial and geometrical interpretations, bifix codes, return and words, morphisms and substitutions, etc. |
