| Abstract: | We give an introduction into the theory of discrete Schroedinger operators associated to low complexity subshifts. Such operators arise in the quantum mechanical treatment of quasicrystals. We focus on the relationship between combinatorial properties of the subshift and spectral theory of the operator. |
