Title: Self-induced dynamical systems, substitutions and derived sequences
Abstract: The minimal substitution subshifts are known to be self induced. This can be shown using the Recognizability theorem of Mossé. But the self-induction property is even more stronger: substitution subshifts have finitely many non-isomorphic induced systems one cylinder sets. Differently said, uniformly recurrent morphic sequences have finitely many derived sequences on their factors. In this talk we will go beyond the substitution case and answer the following questions : what are the self-induced dynamical systems ?
