Title: Yet Another Characterization of Sturmian Words
Abstract: Sturmian words, i.e., nonperiodic infinite binary words that have the minimal number of factors for each length, have long been a class of words widely studied from a combinatorial and dynamical point of view. Several equivalent definitions exist for such words. In this talk I will present several new characterizations of Sturmian words based on the lexicographic ordering of their factors.
